It tastes sweet, buttery and nutty compared to the sharper and more piquant flavor of Romano. Parmesan has become very popular in the United States and Wisconsin leads in the production of award-winning Parmesan.

Buttery, sweet, nutty flavor intensifies with age. Granular texture. Made from part-skim milk. Aged over 10 months.

PAIRS WELL WITH
Serious cheese deserves serious drinks, so we like to pair parmesan with chianti, pinot noir, malbec, syrah, champagne, prosecco and riesling. We also like the strong stuff with it including grappa, nocino, sherry and madeira.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not ship over the weekend. Most orders placed Thursday-Sunday will ship the following Monday, unless Saturday delivery is available in your area. We will notify you with a tracking number once your package ships.

Because our cheese is hand-cut, your cheese may arrive slightly more or slightly less than listed net weight.

For special orders items, please allow 2 - 3 weeks. Please note: To avoid weekend transit, orders placed after 1 PM ET on Wednesday will ship on Monday of the following week.
